I have over 12 years of success in managing large-scale, sponsored research awards and community outreach projects. I am a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt with a focus on strategic planning to streamline processes and improve areas of greatest concern.
My journey of providing program management services and strategic counsel began during a tenure with the Richland County Adult Activity Center in Columbia, SC, where I was responsible for conceptualizing and implementing adult centered health and wellness initiatives. I served as the General Manager for the Charles R. Drew Wellness Center in Columbia, SC, where I successfully launched wellness programs in an under-served community, leading the organization's strategic direction and $1 million operating budget.
I have transitioned from directing local government health and wellness programs to currently managing complex health disparity projects for the Medical University of South Carolina. I am responsible for executing the financial and administrative functions of a $19.6 million grant that was secured through the Department of Defense.
I earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Masters of Health Administration degrees from the University of South Carolina. I am also certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB) through the Medical University of South Carolina.
